We come across a huge range of pests in our work and enjoy advising people on how best to deal with them.

Ants

Ants are possibly the most common pests we deal with; don’t even bother with the boiling water and ant powder, it doesn’t kill them all! We carry out very successful treatments against ants using extremely effective modern methods.

Bedbugs

Infestations are becoming more common; bed bugs are the size of an apple pip, flat, brown, oval in shape and give quite a bite that leads to a red itchy lump. A full survey will need to be carried out to discover the level of infestation followed by an intense treatment with follow ups until all clear.

Birds

Birds can become pests for several reasons, especially if they gain access to your roof; their droppings can be toxic and in all cases will attract insects like mites which could move into the main property. Pests bird can be removed, waste cleared, areas treated and proofing carried out to ensure no future problems.

Cockroaches

There are two main types that live in the UK and they both tend to favour dark, warm, steamy places often when food is available. They carry many diseases such as dysentery and gastroenteritis. As they are nocturnal a survey using sticky traps needs to be carried out to judge the level of infestation.

Fleas

When fleas are introduced to the home or workplace they can very quickly become a major nuisance and embarrassment. We use only the best products and techniques to quickly rid your premises of these annoying little pests!

Mice

Mice can get through tiny gaps and with their extremely rapid breeding habits can soon infest whole properties. Treatments are usually straight forward and we have many methods we can use for a quick result. Proofing can usually be carried out to avoid further problems.

Rats

Rats tend not to leave droppings everywhere but instead choose an area for a toilet which can create quite a smell. They also carry diseases; the worst being Weills Disease which can kill humans. Squirrels

Squirrels often choose to live in roof spaces and lofts for safety and warmth. People usually call us out because of the noise they make but the damage they cause is a lot more serious especially with electrical wiring problems. We only use humane methods for the removal of squirrels.

Wasps and bees

Wasps nests should never be treated by the public due to the number of severe allergic reactions being reported each year. Sometimes wasps need more than one treatment for many reasons, however, we won't charge you a penny more if we have to come back and re-treat.
